"Ah the elusive white elephant one of India finest. Catch one if you can they are fun to ride. The nicotine blows you away. It's closest cousin is dholakia White with similar attitudes. When she grabs you with her trunk and slams you to the ground get back up and show her who's the boss. Since the availability is difficult I only break her out on occasion; to find she has not lost any strength and still has a strong kick.
I was thinking to use as a mixer but that would be sacrilege. Best enjoyed like a fine cognac"
Dry white high nicotine snuff not for bigginers or intermediates have a drink on hand as thiss will go straight to the back of your throat
The first time I cracked a White Elephant tin open I did not like it. Not only was difficult to take, but I could not get past the ammonia aftertaste. Now here is the thing, after a week or so I decided to revisit this blend and everything changed. The ammonia taste was completely gone and the flavour profile changed. It took me for some time to get around the fact it is so finely ground and dry, but after I managed, I started appreciating the nutty and earthy like notes. If you like pipe smoking, it really enhances the flavour of your smoking experience in the same way a good Rioja wine enhances the flavour of your sirloin steak. If you think this is going to be too much for you as you are only starting, I recommend 6 Photo Natural instead, which is a step in the right direction to get used to white type Indian snuff. It is fluffier and moister than White Elephant, but packs almost the same nicotine kick and flavour profile. On the downside I'd say after you get used to Indian White snuff, there is no way back to your other usual blends, and you will probably grow out of any heavily cased or aromatic snuff tobacco. White Elephant is something of an acquired taste, but after you master its white power and beauty, you will find yourself wanting nothing else, so be prepared for a bumpy ride.
