I felt duty bound to dispel any concerns people might have about Hippies wearing scented oils and Afghan coats. This is a wonderful snuff. The patchouli is deeply 'undergrowthy', as might be expected from what is basically a large grass-like plant and is here married skillfully with the sharpness of cedar wood. So perfect is this blend, that is is possible to consciously switch between the two whilst the snuff is in the nose, producing an effect similar to wandering from a conifer forest into fragrant grasslands and back again. The tobacco base is dark and rich, but fluffier and lighter than some other F&T offerings, and makes itself known as the pinch evolves. It's an elegant and sophisticated experience, with a complexity driven by the interaction of the two distinct woody scents. Highly recommended for snuffers who enjoy a thoughtful sniff.
Definitely a good one.
